Idaho Power Donates Truck to the Dietrich Fire Department

Safety is a core value at Idaho Power — and a recent vehicle donation will help the rural southern Idaho town of Dietrich protect its community from wildfires.

Earlier this month, Idaho Power donated a retired fleet truck to the Dietrich Fire Department. The vehicle will serve as the new brush fire truck for the department, adding an important resource to help respond to wildfires in the surrounding desert terrain. Regional Customer Relations Manager Jim Mason joined energy advisors Angie Miller and Tom Behm in presenting the keys to Dietrich Fire Department staff.

Idaho Power occasionally donates retired equipment to public service agencies. To learn more about the company’s community involvement — including information on how to apply for donations — visit idahopower.com/community.
