During this same time, the amount we spent to purchase electricity from other utilities increased from $876 million to more than $2 billion.” During the workshops, commission staff will explain the company’s application and the commission’s role in reviewing it. Customers may ask questions. Representatives from the company will also be on hand to answer questions. Intervenors in the case include the Industrial Customers of Idaho Power, Idaho Irrigation Pumpers Association, Community Action Partnership of Idaho, Snake River Alliance, Micron Technology, Inc., Kroger Company, and Department of Energy on behalf of the Idaho National Laboratory.
