Idaho Power is accepting applications for the company’s 2025 Engineering Internship Program, which offers exciting, paid opportunities for the future leaders of the energy industry.
Each summer, interns from local, regional, and national colleges and universities are paired with Idaho Power engineering mentors to work on real-world projects that complement the theories and practices they learn in class. Through mentorship, summer projects, and opportunities to cross-train and job shadow — as well as field trips! — they learn about the complex systems that deliver energy to customers in today’s high-tech electrical grid.
The ideal internship candidate will be currently enrolled in an accredited engineering program as a junior or non-graduating senior. The internship generally lasts three to four months and pays $24 an hour. Applications must be submitted by Friday, Oct. 25.
