Idaho Power’s Local Energy Efficiency Fund
Funds under this program are for projects that do not fall within any of the other Idaho Power efficiency and demand management programs.
Incentive qualifications and amounts are subject to change or termination at any time. Incentives will be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Both funding and the conditions of the program are subject to the jurisdiction of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (IPUC) and shall be subject to such changes or modifications as the IPUC may, from time to time, direct in the exercise of its jurisdiction. Incentives are available for up to half of a project’s cost. Total incentives, grants and other funding from all sources may not exceed 100% of project costs.
Idaho Power retains full discretion of whether and how much to award for any incentive payment. Generally, Idaho Power will fund up to half of a project’s cost. In making the selection, Idaho Power considers factors including, but not limited to:
- Electrical energy savings
- Demand reduction
- Educational value
- Relevancy and benefit to other projects
