Road Work Could Impact Travel Between Oxbow and Hells Canyon Dam

OXBOW, Oregon — Visitors traveling between Oxbow and Hells Canyon Dam should expect delays of up to 30 minutes through the spring while Idaho Power contractors perform road maintenance.

Work is scheduled to begin next week about 12 miles north of Oxbow. An automatic signal will control traffic, and vehicles could be stopped for up to 30 minutes during daytime hours.

Motorists are asked to use extra caution while traveling in the area.
